Hey!

Oh yeah, we love that game! Here in Scotland, Uk we call it 'Boy, Girl'. What we do is draw a grid on the paper and along the top row we write "Boy" "Girl" "Colour" "Animal" "TV Show" "Sweet" "Country" (or anyother random things), then each person takes a turn to say "A... then say the alphabet into them self" the person beside them says "STOP" and whatever letter the 'alphabet sayer' is at then we use that letter to think up the words. When the first person is finished they start to count to 10, once they have reached 10 everyone has to stop.

Scoring - you get 10 points for an original answer and 5 points if you have an answer the same as someone else.... it is such fun!! :)

Hi, I've been reading your blog for a while now and this is the first time I leave you a comment. Your post brought back some memories, because as a child, we used to play this game too. But we made a column for each letter of the alphabet. There was no time constraint. Whenever you came up with a word, you filled it in... it could take days before the first one filled up the whole sheet and was the winner! Great game!
