Hi, Carol! We're now living in The Hague in the Netherlands and your photos of Frontera really got me craving some good Mexican food (having moved here from Houston). I've concocted a decent margarita, and am now eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Rick Bayless cookbook you recommended (it's in our container waiting to pass through customs). I just wish I could find some decent green salsa!

Here's to family celebrations and ones with just the two of you. Cheers!

A friend just linked me to your blog. We share a few things in common. We are Orthodox, homeschool and I love to sew. Plus we are trying our hands at a garden this year. I will be back to read more of your blog soon. Just glancing around I've found several posts I'd love to go read.

Hi Carol--
I found your blog through Hillary Lang's blog, I love her stuff, and obviously she loves yours. I've been lurking for a bit, but I think I know you from Biola. I'm friends with Jeff and Ariana Mullins and I still live in Whittier.

Anyway, I love Edward Hopper's paintings. I'm so glad you got to see them in person. I would love the chance to do so myself. I did a few painting studies at Biola modeled on some of his works.

Hi Carol, glad to hear that you and Nathan had a such a lovely time together! I didn't comment on your last post but was thinking about the hard decision you have. Home schooling is always a fun thing to try and I'm glad my mom did it with me for a couple of critical years.
