A bird, at minus 3 degrees? Pretty hardy little guy!

There’s been a bunch of noisy (cheerful) birds chirping outside my window in the morning. It certainly is better than revving engines, which is what I normally hear first thing in the a.m. We’ve train tracks nearby and that’s another frequent _early_ morning sound.. both the horn as well as the general chugging. It’s a noisy world. At least, right by my apartment it is.

Ooooh, I’ve only seen a Cardinal once, but it was beautiful.

Carol! I love your blog!!!

I’m so glad we found each other on facebook. I think about you, and pray for Simon and all of you every day, of course. In fact, Sbdn. Michael and I spent time on Sunday talking about you. It’s so good to know what you are “up to”.

With the snow tonight and the bitter cold, I will try to keep spring in my thoughts, but I don’t know! It just doesn’t seem to want to show its face….ever!!! :)

Wow, here in Northeast Texas we have beautiful Cardinals all year round. We see them most when we feed them on our front porch in the winter. They nest in our backyard in the summertime. You should see the daddy Cardinals teaching the babies to fly from tree to tree, it is so sweet! I LOVE them!! I saw a Robin last Friday afternoon, took a picture as it was flying away from the bird bath.

Lovely blog, btw.
