cute dress alert

just to alert you all that I am making a super cute dress for Peppy.

all I need to do is use my zipper foot for the very first time and attach the bodice to the skirt…wish me luck with the zipper thing…

details to follow in a day or two.

okay, off to warm up my car for a good 20 minutes before picking up the kids. you know, 1 degreeF sort of forces you to plan ahead…oh, and with the wind it is -13…it was ACTUALLY -14 when I took the kids to school today…not sure what the wind chill was…I think it was -34.

oh, spring…come quick!

Carol - it was so cold this morning out by us that the kids had to go indoors before school! I started to think that I can’t take it much colder and I realized…we’re not even to February yet! Augh. Can’t wait to hear more about the dress!

Sorry I let your birthday pass without sending you my well wishes. Sounds like it was a fun day, may this be a wonderful year for you! May God grant you many more.
The dress is super cute! Now that I have a girl I am determined to learn how to sew.
I cannot believe how cold it is! It’s like a different world over there. This is where I will refrain from saying something obnoxious about the warm california weather. It’s actually pouring rain today but that wasn’t a complaint.

Oh good lord! It’s in the 40s here and I’ve done everything but start a fire in a trash can to keep the living room warm. I cannot imagine anything even close to zero!
