cheers! 2007

Yesterday was not only Father’s Day, but our 12th wedding anniversary. We spent most of the day with the air on, eating good cheese, drinking French cider, and dealing with kids in and out of the house (we did manage to go out on Friday). It has been really hot and humid- very reminiscent of our day in 1995…in fact I think that’s all what people remember of our wedding is the 95+ heat and extreme humidity.

A good day to reflect on what my sweet husband and I have created in the past 12 years. 3 kids, 1 cross-country move, multiple pets, and a solid friendship…

…nothing better than that…we look so young!

I made my yearly shirt for Nathan and also thought my Dad would like it for Father’s Day as well. Because really, what else would you want?!

Hurrah for freezer paper stencils!

Mazeltov x 12! The yearly shirt idea is terrific. I’m sure they’ll be in heavy rotation.

No, I remember a very lovely wedding, the ribbons on the stage, your father’s song, and wonderful food! And I remember the joy of seeing my son marry his lovely sweetheart, and feeling so happy as we got to know his/ our new branch of the family better. Yes, it was a bit hot and sticky, and my luggage got lost, but it was wonderful! And your 12 years together as friends, lovers and parents has made a family that is a joy and blessing to many.

I love the shirt and your father’s expression–so happy!

Best wishes and happy anniversary–our 12th is on September 9, but instead of humidity (we had the heat too!) NJ had been in a terrible drought at the time, so all our pictures look like we are standing on straw : )
