a thrifting break

I needed to get away for a bit, so while Peppy was napping and the kids were down the block- I ran to my favorite Thrift and Dollar. Don’t worry, my husband was home. You know when you just need to get lost somewhere? The library and Thrift do it for me.

I totally hit the mark today. The dress above is my absolute favorite. Can you believe it?

So sweet- very 1980s, but in a sweet and simple way.

Okay, the above 2 are my favorite today as well- the crazy thing, I left a few more items in the store because what do I need these for? No more babes in my future, but lots that are about to be born. Who knows, some of you may be getting something in the mail soon!

Some other “thrift love”, I found a complete Childcraft set for $20. I already have a set, I wish I knew someone that could use this beautiful lot of books.

The biggest find was a spectacular love seat I would love to have. It’s a modern Danish love seat and just gorgeous. Red with white dots and totally something I need/want.

Happy Weekend.

OH! What year is the Childcraft set? I’ve been hunting for the one from my childhood.

I’d love to find those books. I have the worst luck thrifting.

Wow great finds!
Unfortunately the only place to find things in my area is at yard sales so it’s very hit or miss.
And who can resist little baby clothes? :)

We have a set of the Childcraft books and use them all the time for school projects. I’ve found out that a couple of my friends also have the same books and use them as well! I love the illustrations in them.

[…] So what’s up with all of the random photos? I got my furniture I mentioned last Friday. I love it! This past week has been crazy with tearing up my whole house. I moved my sewing space to a smaller space (photos to come), I cleaned out the photo closet to make room for my sewing space, cleaned under couches and closets…just for my cool loveseat and chair. I feel like we moved- so much work! […]
