last day

Today we are celebrating the last day of school. I feel very grateful for committed teachers, children that love to learn and a break! oops, I mean summer break…not a break from them during the school year! I am happy we have a break from the school routine!

It’s a tradition to do our front step shot on the first and last day of school. Sorry for the overload of kid photos, but I love to see how they have changed…and well, this blog is also for me and documentation. I’m not documenting their lives anywhere else!

They grow up, don’t they? I always get a bit teary eyed this time of year. Good grief, what will I do when they are off to college?! I’ll probably be gladly dropping them off!

I love the abundance of kid pictures! These are wonderful! amazing to see how they have changed in a school year, wow! Looks like Piggy is aging a bit. Funny that Penny, at the end of the school year has changed but the sippy cup and piggy remain the same. :-) Love it!

Wow! Only 9 months between the two shots. The changes are incredible. Glad Piggy made it too!

They’re adorable! I love the fact that the same stuffed animal made both pictures! That’s just like my baby too.

I love that you did this and to see how they’ve grown over the school year. You have some cute kids. Enjoy the summer with them.

I love that idea!! You will eventually have a whole childhood full of photos like that and it will be so much fun to look back. :D

So cute! I don’t feel as far away when I get to see how each of the kids looks from week to week and read about what they’re doing and experiencing. Thanks so much for letting us in on your “record keeping!”
