i’m a sucker

I’m a sucker for seer-sucker.

Yep, Simplicity 7229 again. And yes, I had the guts to use some of my favorite fabric that I have held on to for a few years. I love it and I do love this skirt. My 8 year old actually complimented me on my newest skirt which is quite a thing- she doesn’t notice a whole lot when it comes to clothes (that’s why I can easily dress and shop for her without input).

Hurray for skirts- I am on to making another with some applique and then I think I will retire the pattern until Fall…don’t you think I should?

I’m loving the skirts you are making…the color on the last one with the red floral is awesome!

I love your skirts and everything else on your blog! I am on a Simplicty 7229 kick now, too…I recognized the fabric you used for the skirt with the brown strip at the bottom! It was “50% of clearance” sale, so I finished off a bolt at about $1 per yard. Can’t wait to use it–like you, probably for another skirt!
