a little more Simplicity…

…pattern 7229.

I have adored this fabric for the past 3 years and I finally had the guts to turn it into something! I love this skirt so much and have one in seersucker already in the works.

Now I only need to know when to STOP making myself skirts. I could easily diminish my fabric supply and fill my closet with skirts. But when it really comes down to it- I end up wearing the same thing over and over and this skirt for sure will be a part of my summer uniform.

The best part- it literally takes an hour to make!

I love everything about this–the fabric, the pattern, your cool shoes (do tell where to find them!) and the movement of your dog jumping at the camera :)

i love it, and i love that last picture of you in it. very cool.
I wish i liked myself in skirts like this, because I could go crazy…if I could just find an easy ankle length capri pant pattern? I’d be set!!

It’s darling! I love wearing skirts too… they feel feminine. I think yours looks great with the top(s) too. You’re inspiring me!
