living 12…and some words

Just a quick note regarding “Made for China”- I’ll be responding to those who have e-mailed me with their projects (hopefully today!).

Thanks everyone, we have approximately 162 gifts already filled! Check out the left side bar and the stats I am updating daily. I appreciate those who have responded- although I won’t “hold you to it”, it just gives me good sense of what to expect .

Hi there! Your sister and Jane are in music class with my daughter and I. She told me about your effort and I think it is just fabulous! I am in the process of making 5 linus blankets. I will try to do more if time allows. I wasn’t sure how to contact you to let you know for your talley. Hopefully I can deliver them to Susan this week at class!
Again, I think what you are doing is just wonderful. My eyes have been tearing up as I make the blankets, picturing the little girls using them and hoping that they can make their days a little brighter.

Can I make blankets for China out of fleece and put blanket binding around the edge? They would only be one thickness as fleece is pretty heavy as it is. Could you respond to my e-mail as I would like to buy some fleece tomorrow using my 40% off coupon at JoAnn’s Fabric Store. (BTW, I am spiritualknitter’s mother.)
