Oh yes I’ve done the same thing! One thing I did when I was sewing for our girls was I left the side seams open until near the end-after the sleeves were attached to the sholder.So you sew the under arm and sides all at once.It’s not so cramped sewing a small arm hole.Instruction sheets dont usually say this.Love reading about your projects.

Well, I know from personal experience that if you go ahead and do the right thing and rip it all out and do it over again, you will not only have a better result, but you will feel better about yourself! Did I mention that I know this from personal experience?! Sigh…

I ran across your blog recently and enjoy stopping in! I have been working on a flannel robe for myself (first clothing project in a very long time) and spent a good chunk of last evening with the seam-ripper. It is a good way to discipline yourself into being more detail oriented. Hope it turns out well!
