for you

Merry Christmas everyone!

I’m taking a break around here, blogland- that is. I’m getting a bit twitchy with all the things I need to do, have to do, and WANT to do…plus, when I look at what everyone else is doing out there I get a bit green with envy. I am just craving time to sew- so, a break is due.

Not sure when I will be back- probably mid-January…but look on me in Flickr. I will for sure be adding photos of our holiday and maybe of some of the baking I am doing at work.

Anyway, I am grateful for all of you kind readers who comment and don’t…I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and peaceful New Year. Be well!

I hear ya on craving some creative time. I LOVE your version of that Denise Schmidt scarf. I just got that book myself and can’t wait to make a scarf, too!

Hi! I’ve just spent some time looking around your blog, and I’ve really enjoyed it. I also have 3 kids (girl, boy, girl) and I see I have several of the same fabrics you do. lol!

I loved your 30 days of living…if I did that, I know most of my pictures would be of my youngest, Claire, because we are together 24/7! She just turned 5 and will start Kindergarten next year (or this year! Yikes!) and I’m really trying to enjoy my time with her now.

Big, HUGE congratulations to your husband on getting his Masters! Looks like he must have been an honors student also!

I hope you come back from your blogging break soon-I can’t wait to see your new creations!

[…] Well, I finally managed to sit down and do some sewing! It’s funny, because with every project I gain more confidence in my sewing, but then walk away beating myself up for not being a perfectionist (I wish I had it in me). […]
