It was one of those books you just never wanted to end. I'd have long discussions with my English teacher about it, and for a graduation present, she gave me a copy of the book. After nearly two decades of moving and paring down my belongings, I still have that gift. One day I'll pass it on to my daughters, and I hope they'll enjoy it as much as I did. I read it in my sr. year of high school, and loved it. It was one of those books you just never wanted to end.
