A hat
I’ve been a proud member of the official Mailorder Craft Club and absolutley just love the whole concept! Makes me feel like a 12 year old again and giddy when I see my red envelope in the mail. Our secretary does everything so well…including great ideas and easy instructions.
This hat was the last project and I have been completely focused on finishing it up since I started it- which was yesterday. The lining is red mini-cord. and the outer fabric is some really nice heavy cotton I have had in my stash for a time. I still need to add the tab that connects the 2 ear flaps, but I was debating if I wanted to have droopy dog ears or the 2 neatly buttoned together. Considering I live in a very windy place, I think latching the sides will be best…
Okay, so as I was creating this post I started laughing at all the dumb photos I took of myself wearing this hat! I’m not sure why I am sharing such silliness, but perhaps someone out there needs a good laugh. I know I did.
