I bought that fabric AND that pattern for my little girlie girl last weekend during the big JoAnn coupon frenzy. not kidding. we are totally living parallel lives, my dear! ('cept I have no newborn niece to love and brag about ; ) love how the dress turned out. and i am such a fan of chocolate brown. your daughter has such sophisticated taste. well, this is weird.

I've got one big "super sewing store" near me, which is more miss than hit, lots of synthetics and very little taste and I've got one "exclusive" one with prices upward of $30 per metre. I also find that the best inspiration for getting behind the sewing machine is finding a great piece of fabric - perhaps that expleains my very sporadic offerings. Carol,
