I love the stitching you made for your sister! My oldest sister has her 50th coming up this fall and I'm trying to figure out what to make for her - your gift is terrific inspiration! I also love Penelope's smock - she's such a cutie - I have a 2 and a half year old blonde squishy cutie named Ben and every time I see a picture of Penelope it reminds me of Ben. Ben is also going through a "no!" phase with getting his picture taken - that or he gives me his "cheese!" face every time I point the camera at him, which involves him scrunching up half of his face in a kind of a wink so he sort of looks like Popeye - it's insanely cute, but not for every single picture!

Recently, when I was cleaning out my vintage sewing stash, I found a little vintage something that I would love to send to you to use for "Penny" - it's definitely unusual, but quite cute - and since I don't know anyone named Penny I would love to send it your way! Just e-mail me.

I love when people recommend books. I enjoy finding books that I might not have come across on my own. I like Penelope's smock and your stitching. Very nice!

Such a wonderful stitchery--I'm sure your sister absolutely loved it! And the smock is so cute. Could you possibly let me know what pattern you used--or perhaps it's your own pattern? I'm so glad you're feeling better.
