What a fantastic looking place. Every city needs one.
We live by the beach, which is great for summer fun, but not so good in the winter. It's a city beach, so not too much exploring of nature to be done. Also, Tilly is at an age where she just wants to run into the water, so it is best to avoid it when the weather is cold. (Even though I am quite partial to a wander along the sand on a moody winter's day.)

isn't that children's garden amazing?! definitely not the morton arboreteum of our childhood. I was in awe the first time I went too. it was an unseasonably warm fall day and we had the whole place to ourselves. unfortunately it's been packed every time we've been there since. still great though!
