My niece did such a great job with breakfast the other morning. Ellie pitched in too…I loved that these two were so eager to cook (Ethan as well!). As I observed Ariana moving herself around the kitchen, I anticipate Ellie will soon follow…I just wish I didn’t like to be in complete control. Heh, Heh…I love to be in the kitchen and it can be difficult for me not to be so focused and not allow others to enjoy.
That will change.

I know what you mean about being in control in the kitchen. I have realized that I can give Madeline more freedom, but I am not comfortable yet with Abby on the loose. I was thinking the other day about how nice it is when kids get older, and I don’t have to be so involved with every thing they do. I think that it gets easier to give up control when I can trust them with more.
