easy living…
Simon left yesterday on a trip to Ohio with my parents. He was ecstatic to meet baby Jane and play with his two older boy cousins. So…life was easy! It brought me back to the time when I only had Ellie and it always felt like playing house. While Penny napped I got a bizillion things done and even worked on my latest “stitching”. Good thing as parents you just fit in the needs of every kid as they are born into your family, but it is nice to be reminded of WHY you have kids…one kid at a time…like I experienced yesterday with Penelope Tess.
Penny and I were out and about and stumbled on this fantastic coat at a local consignment shop! It is so soft and warm and will keep her happy this winter. Fashionable? Yes Ready for snow? Maybe not, that’s why she will wear her brothers! Ah, yes…good old hand me downs!
